Over the course of two long years, Yad Kalashnikov Band painstakingly recreated their unique hectic sound in a home studio. Now it is ready to be unleashed upon the world. Inspired by the blindly grand idiocracy of the former Soviet union, Yad has created a genre all it's own: a cross between balkan, klezmer, folk and punk. From the first few seconds of accordian and violin to the final hum of the 45, Kalabalik is 43 minutes of swedes going on a wild trip through genres - taking you along for the ride!
