In 2004, Yearning 2 Learn was developed by Vernon “Snoop” Robinson. “Snoop” was intrigued by the way kids and adults enjoy music and how easily they remember every song on the radio. Having worked in a career in which he had to quickly learn how to communicate with his Spanish speaking employees, “Snoop” decided to combine his love for music and his desire to learn the Spanish language to create a product that would bring the fun of learning to rhythmic beats. As he brainstormed, the worlds of fun, music and language collided resulting in him to connect with Alejandro “Mr. Perez” Perez, Jr. a bilingual educator, and Hip Hop artist, and partnering with Jason “J Shi” Robinson, a music producer. From this partnership Yearning 2 Learn was birthed. Six years later, they have reunited to reignite Yearning 2 Learn by reaching beyond Hip Hop and incorporating Reggae, Pop, and other music genres to present to this musically intoxicated generation.


Yearning 2 Learn plans to launch other interactive learning CDs; animated DVDs; develop real life characters to travel to schools and organizations to encourage learning and produce a television show. Our goal is to continuously introduce technologically
advanced ways of academic instruction that
will leave children and adults alike “Yearning 2 Learn”.
