Blake: "This album is mostly a way of coping with and/or celebrating life. I believe each person should make everything they can out of their life, so this is us doing exactly that. I love music. It's a huge part of my life, and you honestly could not be around me for more than a couple of hours without hearing me sing something. The songs on this album cover (each in their own way) my life and points that have really stood out to me. That being said, the songs are not in a story-telling fashion. I hope that people can take the songs that I helped come up with on this album, hear the lyrics, and come up with their own interpretation to them and apply them where they see fit. It's been a pretty long (and sometimes painful) journey to get to where I am musically today. I hope everyone who hears this will relate and share in my stories. To all our fans (read "friends") out there who read this, it is truly you who have given us Enough to Follow Through." ... "Yes, I made that cheesy statement. Deal with it."
Enough to Follow Through was completely the work of Yesternight's Decision. By that, we mean that we bought the equipment. We learned to play the instruments. We wrote the songs. We practiced tons. We read all kinds of online home recording forums/web pages/pdf files. We recorded ourselves in a living room. We built studio traps to try to make the room sound better. We researched the best equipment that we could afford. We mixed the songs. We mastered the songs. We published the album. The only thing we didn't do on this album was physically create the CD. We hope you enjoy this album and find a way to contact us if you do like it. We love fans. Last but not least, we did not use autotune.
