Album Notes

Young Chillinswoth, Son of Jimmi, just released at the end of October under new label Illest Music, is the artist's sophomore album to "DJ Chill as Chillest Illest Talking Bad." This album displays the artist's evolution and metamorphosis from a classic DJ to a do-it-all DJ, MC, beatmaker, mixer, and producer. While showcasing himself and other local MCs, and getting big name guests like Devin The Dude, Mistah Fab, Suga Free, and Luni Coleone to collaborate, the artist paints a picture of the party scene and street life in Portland, Oregon. While trying to distance himself from the DJ side of the music industry in order to shift his focus to the role of MC, DJ Chill was signed on to tour with Strange Music as Tech N9ne's full time DJ. Further solidifying himself as a top notch DJ, Young Chillinsworth hopes this album will garner him respect amongst his peers as an MC as well. This won't be the last you hear or see from Young Chillinsworth, as his third album "Chillectric Ladyland" and a behind the scenes look at his everyday life at home and on tour in "Chill Television: Episode 1" are already nearing completion, and are expected to be released in the first part of 2010.
