Album Notes

This CD provides musical accompaniment, in the form of nine unique, original songs, to a no less unique book about the influence The Beatles had on those living behind the Iron Curtain. Collected in the book 'Strings For A Beatle Bass', are twenty six stories, bringing you on a trip of more than twenty years through the former U.S.S.R., which did not escape the worldwide Beatles phenomenon.

One of the songs, 'The Yeah Yeah Virus' wasprominently featured in the BBC documentary "How The Beatles Rocked The Kremlin', made by LEslie Woodhead, the man who had shot the first ever Beatles film back in their early Cavern days. Doctor Yury Pelyushonok figures prominently throughout the film.

As for the book, 'Strings For A Beatle Bass', it is also available. For more information visit: www.yuryspace.weebly.com .
