Album Notes

The new ZAZOU CITY cd, "Liar's Moon," features New Orleans gypsy jazz taken to a unique, lyrical and compelling place. The music is played by ace musicians, and includes inspired compositions. The cd of New Orleans musicians features Bart Ramsey doing the honors on either accordion or piano, along with some vocals; plus gypsy-jazz guitar players Matt Bell, Raphael Bas, and Chris Edmunds; as well as Nathan Lamberson on the stand-up bass, Aurora Nealand and Matt Shilling on saxophones, Charlie Miller on trumpet, and Neti Vaan on violin.
