Wonderful downhome blues

Aaron Burton is certainly one of the best (if unfortunately not very well known in the outside world) today's Country blues player. This CD features him with a tight small band, delivering an immaculate performance of down home blues (and some Country Music too) with a strong influence of lightnin' Hopkins and Lonnie Johnson: laid back vocals, excellent restrained but very soulful guitar solos, memorable songs. A CD to get.
