notes
I can’t remember a time I wasn’t banging on something, singing a song or looking for something to make noise with. Some fathers and sons go out and throw a football around. Dad and I grab an instrument and jam out. It’s been that way since I could play two chords on the guitar. But the drums overtook my interest on the guitar, and the piano beat them both out and has since been my instrument of choice. In all honesty, playing all my own instruments on my recording is more for convenience sake, but it does leave me with the pleasure of knowing that the music literally comes straight from me.
Banging out chords and creating rock leads on the keys has dominated my music for some time. I’ve been a solo artist for less than a year now, and I’ve had the pleasure of sharing a stage with several national acts such as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and gaining a solid reputation for my name, hopefully making an impact on the scene of my area. I can’t wait to tackle whatever comes next.

Fantastic artist! Music is awesome!
author: threeleggeddogThis CD is my first intro to Aaron Durr's music. I find it funny, of high quality and very entertaining. It has been in my CD player since I bought it and I am beginning to fear wearing it out with the amount of play it is getting. I can't wait to see what comes next from him- Witty- Smart- Talented.... a great CD for anyone who loves to smile while singing along to some great and unique music.

Durr's A+ "Semester"
author: R.B. DuncanAaron Durr's cd "Another Long Semester" is a complete emphasis of unique humor and stylish sounds. Someone who is flexible in performing other genres and knows how to work an audience. He holds his own style with finesse and writes his own work, which truly makes him even a bigger musical asset. I highly recommend his cd to anyone and look for more great music from this terrific musician.
Strong beginning for a promising artist: Durr is for real.
author: John Bruce"Another Long Semester" does what should have been done a long time ago with the mainstream music monster - it attempts to revive pop music by opening up with listeners on a personal level, rather than pushing them away with a phoney persona. Musical wit and lyrical playfulness make this an album worth listening to. Aaron is full of music, and it is certain that he will be offering many songs to his listeners in the future. Keep an eye on this guy.
