Album Notes

I wrote these songs while I was in Iraq for a year. While deployed I taught myself how to play guitar and penned these songs during my free time. For R&R leave, instead of going home, I went to Nashville, TV and recorded this album. I had a blast and spent my two weeks (in Nashville) frequenting the Honky Tonks on Broadway and enjoying the live music. Later that year, when I returned from Iraq, I began playing live at small venues in El Paso, TX. My biggest claim to fame was when I opened for The Tennessee Three July 4th, 2007. I am still a Soldier and a Drill Sergeant stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood , MO. I don't have time to play live or write songs anymore. I learned about CD Baby from Mary Sue Englund and my friend Pam Tillis who both gave me good business advice at a concert in Branson.

Aaron Quinn has been delvering consistently for the past 26 years. With the release of his debut album "This Ain't Missouri" Aaron bursts onto the scene and really shows that he was not afraid to take a chance. The title track, written after the loss of a great friend, paves the way for a great album/story. Do not miss June in July or How Could you still walk away! Great artist, even better person! Highly recommended!
