You will be hearing about Aaron Schroeder for a long time. Southern Heart in Western Skin shines and sparkles. From the first moment I heard Aaron's "Movin' Movin' Train", I was all aboard. The rest of the tracks on this album share the same kind of magic.
On several of the songs, Aaron features one of the most creative and instrumentally tight backing bands out there (Mu Meson). They add interesting sonic details throughout the songs they contribute to. With their collaboration, Aaron's consistenly well-developed up-tempo pop-folk becomes nothing less than phenomenal. It's actually very difficult to imagine improving this album.

Every song is so raw and genuine. The vocals really shine through and stand out on every track. In fact I 'd like to hear a stripped down version of the EP...! Just Aaron and the guitar....My favorite tune is Rollin' Tennessee ;)

After which you find the dolphins aren’t actually trying to keep up but running. Running from a vicious pack of sharks that have come to eat the dolphins, after which you realize that the sharks turn out to be a giant mutant shark. The mutant shark is the one you’ve been hearing about in the news, that are sent here from another planet. These sharks are hell bent on world domination, by killing all the dolphins in the world, mean while this album just keeps you in a calm soothing state of happiness.
