ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
(oYo) is a self produced E.P. and the recording debut for the Kansas City, MO based Death Pop Duo; Ab5urdum. Founded in 2011 by Neetzchi and Braydon, two art students living in Kansas CIty, Ab5urdum brings a unique style, and blend of styles, to the Synth Pop, EBM, and Industrial world by clashing genres, utilizing sound degradation and distortion, and high impact beats comparable to any harsh electro or PowerNoise group. Many reviewers of compare their music to some of the electronic music of the 80's, and the electroclash genre from the 90's, but with a twist of Punk Rock. Neetzchi's vocal style is ethereal, yet powerful, and her style shifts between an abrasive style with lots of attitude, to that of a nihilistic fairy tale.
