Album Notes

After a six-year performing hiatus, The ALS is back -- bigger and better than ever! Steve Moramarco (former leader of Hill of Beans, whose indie-radio hit “Satan, Lend Me a Dollar” was recently featured on Showtime’s “Weeds”) ditches the acoustic guitar for a ten-piece band, complete with horn section and sexy back-up singers. The band combines the passion of Soul, the intensity of Punk, and the melody of Swing to create their own Genre.

The ALS have toured and played with such heavyweights as Beck, Weezer, Presidents of the USA, Cake, Neil Hamburger, Tenacious D, and have been featured on taste-making radio stations such as KXLU and WFMU.
CD features keyboards and horn arrangements by Steve Gregoropolis of Lavender Diamond.

“Absolutely INFECTIOUS music,” Babysue.com.
