Alan Epstein has been playing music on the mandolin since the early 1970's. He has always been an enthusiastic player and advocate of the mandolin, which as we all know is the "coolest little instrument in the world"

Bonnie Epstein has been playing the piano for most of her life. Bonnie has a degree in Music from UNC Asheville and has played music in many different settings throughout the country. She makes her living teaching piano to others, which give her a chance to share her knowledge of music.

Every year during the holiday season this husband and wife team would play seasonal favorites for their family and friends and they would often be asked when they were going to record a CD. Well here it is!

Please sit back and enjoy the sounds of the piano and mandolin. On 13 of the 15 tracks you will hear just those two instruments playing lovely, familiar melodies. As a special treat on 2 of the tracks the duet format is shifted to a piano / cello duet and then a mandolin / bass duet, with special guests Crispin Campbell on cello and Glenn Wolff on bass.
