Alexandra Billings is an Award winning actress/singer based in Chicago. Alexandra has appeared at the legendary Steppenwolf Theater;Court Theater,Bailiwick Theater,About Face Theater and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. "Being Alive" was named the DEBUT CD by Marle Becker of WBAI-FM in New York and was listed in the top 15 in Cabaret Scenes and Gay Chicago Magazine. Alexandra recently made her Off Broadway debut spring 2003 in her critically acclaimed One Woman Tour de Force, "Before I Disappear," produced by Lampkin Music Group. She has appeared at nightclubs in New York, Palm Springs and Chicago. Her ABC/DISNEY movie debut "Romy and Michelle - In the Beginning" in which she makes TV history in the role of "Donna;" the first transgendered actress to be cast in a transgendered role on a major network; will be seen later this year. Alexandra has won a Jeff Award (Chicago Tony),4 After Dark Awards (acting and cabaret work), and the prestigous MAC/HANSEN award for Cabaret,given by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets.
