Anna Betancourt has been a life long member of St. Linus parish in Norwalk, California where she served as Music Director for many years. Anna has over 17 years of experience directing various choirs at the parish level ranging from Spanish and Traditional choirs to Handbell, Children’s and Contemporary Ensembles.
Anna is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she studied under the direction of Paul Salumonovich. Anna has also been a music teacher at St. Cornelius Catholic School in Long Beach where she taught music appreciation, theory, liturgical music and directed the children’s choir.
At the Archdiocesan level, she has served as a music committee member, a member of the Religious Education Congress Liturgy Committee and has been a speaker and presenter at various conferences and workshops on Music and Liturgy.
Anna is also a recording artist and has recorded with various catholic composers including Bob Hurd and Jaime Cortez.
Currently, Anna is Director of Liturgy and Music at St. Linus Parish
Anna has been married for 10 years and has 2 children.
