Album Notes

The Accentrix is a an original female fronted four piece rock band whose sound incorporates the elements of rock, jazz, blues, folk, acoustic, jam band, and more to create a very unique sound. Our lyrics are written from the heart, from life experiences that easily relate to most people. This debut album contains a few different styles in the rock genre. The band firmly believes in variety in their original material to maintain a higher level of interest to the listener. Many albums today contain songs that sound very similar, however The Accentrix debut album is not prepared this way. Tracks 1 and 7 are jazzy groove rock, tracks 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are harder rock, acoustic/folk rock tracks are 3, 5 (ballad), and 9, and tracks 11 and 12 are pop (adult contemporary) and acoustic jazz tracks respectively.

I listen to this album all the time. I love the singers voice and the musicianship is excellent. These are serious musicians in a world of pre-programmed beats. I love the truly unique quality of the original songs, "All In My Mind" being my personal favorite. Get this album, you will love it!
