A.C. Myles, guitarist, singer and songwriter, is reminiscent of greats in the taste of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher and Eric Clapton. He is one of those performers, that once seen on stage, you'll never forget. As an entertainer, A.C. Myles is an interesting observation. Vividly entertaining in person, often times appearing as if the world could be falling down around him as he play, himself far to entranced in his musical prayer to notice it was happening. All the while his veracious smile rarely leaving, only to disappear in the occasional facial cast of throe. His dedication to progress, perform and nurture the American music forms introduced to him in his youth is uncanny, only exceeded by his undeniable human talent, along with an overall sincerity that's very conjoining.
By the time A.C. was out of school he was jamming with musicians twice his age all over the state, keeping his trio busy, and had begun to write and record his own music. By 2002 A.C. Myles, now 21 years old, was becoming a journeyman musician.
His personal appearances have a 'take no prisoners' approach which; along with a healthy dose of humor, usually gets even the toughest audience on his side. With a performance schedule that might make lesser musicians opt to take up with a good book and a glass of wine, A.C. Myles has a strong work ethic and undiminished ambition. At every chance proclaiming his inalienable right to boogie and rock. "I just want to play for the people who love this type of music. They understand what we're about.
If we do right by the people then I think we'll be around for awhile"
