Album Notes

The Acoustic Mining Company spews a unique blend of high-energy original bluegrass. As the follow up to their first album, Dig, Bad Season takes the band in a beefier direction with the addition of mandolin maestro, Terry Martin. Kurt Hunsinger returns with his signature melodic banjo while Jeff Ames lays down the unexpected guitar leads. Roy Fawcett holds down the groove with his upright bass and vocal addition to the 3-part harmony. Together they provide a heady blend of songwriting that sticks a distinct new feather in the cap of the Colorado bluegrass scene.

The Acoustic Mining Company plays in and around the Denver/Boulder area and all over the Front Range and beyond. Check them out with their latest addition, Annie Savage on fiddle.
