Album Notes

Acoustic Reserve was started by writers and members Chris Haughey and Jim Hollenbach in 2000. Soon they incorporated more members as they played live shows and have been steadily gigging with drummer Jason Davies.

"Acoustic Reserve started out as most bands do. Playing small shows wherever we could get them. Through the help of our fans who support us every day, we truly love what we are doing - both during the shows and after."
-Chris (lead vocals/guitar for Acoustic Reserve)

"My favorite thing about this cd has to be what the songs personally mean to me every time I hear them. We don't like to write about anything that we can't relate to. And I think thats a large part why our cd has been a success so far. People just understand it."
-Jim (guitar and backup vocals)

Since their founding, they have shared the stage with acts such as Brian Vander Ark (Verve Pipe), Angie Aparo, Drew Nelson, Dovetail Joint, Miles to Mars, Molly and many others.

Most of their fans will agree that a Acoustic Reserve has something for almost anyone. Whether it is an intimate setting for an acoustic show, or a larger stage hosting the full band you won't want to miss it.

Currently working on their second album, Acoustic Reserve plans to continue playing locally and writing music about what they know. For more information on Acoustic Reserve, visit them on Myspace at www.myspace.com/acousticreserve or simply check them out at www.acousticreserve.com.

East Lansing Pulse concerning AcRe show with BVA and Dovetail Joint writes:
'At the MSU Ballroom you can check out lead singer Brian Vander Ark performing acoustically. Also on the bill are Chicago rockers Dovetail Joint (their CD-release party) and Acoustic Reserve (who are easily a band that one should check out, if not adopt).'

Acoustic Reserve has a great approach in their songwriting. The songs flow together really well and there is a little something for every musical taste on thier cd. My wife gave this to me after one of their shows she was at because I'm a huge music lover. And I love this music. Well done guys.
