Actor Slash Model describes the collaborative work of Simon Strikeback, an activist and educator, and Madsen Minax, an artist and filmmaker. Together they were once a band as well as a duet filmmaking team. Now that their film "Riot Acts" has been completed they two have happily returned to being "just a band."

With this first full length under their thick belt buckles Actor Slash Model's "Cheap Date" has presented skillful and kinky ways of utilize music and musical performance to explore gender fu*kd lifestyles, heartbreak, lust, and coming of age through their new found genre, "indie-grass."
