"Toys In Babeland" is eleven original instrumental compositions performed and recorded using only actual toy instruments. The effect is both childlike and haunting, because kids can't play this well, and adults wouldn't bother. It may be suitable for young children or sensitive adults.

In 1988, I composed "Toys" as my first four-track cassette recording project. Without external effects processors, and a minimum of pitch adjusting and backwards parts, I created a multi-track, stereo journey into the world of toy instruments, pushing the very limits of their capacity to produce music.
