Album Notes

"Adam Church, singer/song writer, launches his much anticipated debut album "Sum of all Parts" this summer. This eclectic mix of punchy rock tunes coupled with soulful ballards, is a refreshing change from most of the plastic pre-meditated music dominating our airwaves. Adam is no stranger to rock, after 19 years of performing professionally behind a drum kit with the likes of Brian May, Julian Lennon, Richie Sambora, Russell Crowe and Billy Thorpe - to name a few, Adam has decided to finally turn his talent to guitar and voice, mixing it up with Keys and Bass. Recording and performing with original acts Utopian Babies, Oblivia and Transtar, Adam is also a well respected session musician, most recently having recorded drums on Shannon Noll's multi platinum album "Lift". "Sum of all Parts" has been likened to
Neil Finn, David Bowie and Powder Finger by the critic's and is the latest project from respected and well known Australian Producer, Craig Porteils (Cher, Guns'n'Roses, Diesel, Billy Idol, Terrence Trent D'arby and Tom Jones). Craig's experience mixed with Adam's talent makes this album a must!"

The songs on this album play rotational favourites depending on your listening mood. The album has a good flow or journey song to song with a strong sence of melody and hooks without being to contrived. Adam has obviously found the balance between stealing and charity...
