Album Notes

Being a youth pastor for the last nine years I have had the opportunity to sit down with many students who are searching. Some are searching for purpose, some direction, others identity and many are searching simply for something real. Students who are on the journey to finding God will not just take your word for it. They want to know and experience who God really is for themselves.
It is my passion to bring people, through music, to a place where they cannot deny that Jesus is so real, and so worthy to be worshiped and adored. A question I often ask students is “what keeps you up at night?”
When I was 9, it was four-wheelers, now…. It’s not just music, but it’s people experiencing the presence of God through the music, whether that’s in a church service, in your car, or in front of the mirror in the morning.
As a freshman in High school my youth pastor, Kyle Rasmussen, gave me the opportunity to lead my peers in worship. That was the beginning of an awakening for me….
One of my favorite places to lead worship is at student camps and conferences… there is just something about young people getting out of their normal routine and coming to a place where they expect to meet with God in a very real way! …It’s true that worship is about God, but it’s amazing to see how He works in lives, when hearts are completely focused on Him. Personally… this is what fuels me, and leads me to the deeper places
