Album Notes

Recorded with the help of friends and family, “The Vanishing World Part One” represents three years of writing and recording for Florida songwriter Adam Randall. Every song on the EP started out as a simple recording captured in a living room or a back bedroom recorded by friend and engineer John Cobalt. The songs took larger shape as the recordings were passed to Adam’s friends and band and more living room sessions took place. The end result is a collection of stories written by one but embellished by others. A truly unique contribution to Florida’s growing folk movement.

Contributing artists on this recording are:

Jason Richarme - Bass Guitar on "Someone", "Hard Life", "The Vanishing World"
Laura Koelle Pyle - Cello on "Hope is Your Last Visitor"
Ryan Prugh - Drums on "Someone"
Rick Labarbera - Hammered Dulcimer on "Hard Life", Violin on "Reformation" and "The Vanishing World"
Ryan Frazer - Drums on "Hard Life" and "The Vanishing World"
John Cobalt - Electric Guitar on "Someone" and "Pedestrian", Drums and Percussion on "Pedestrian", Piano on "You Said it Best", Drums on "The Vanishing World"
