Album Notes

York Pennsylvania native, Adrian Dylan Chandler, is releasing his first full length album which showcases his songwriting talents with songs of riddled relationships leading from love to angst and everywhere in between. The album was produced by A.D.’s friend and old band mate turned Hollywood producer, Al Sgro. “Some Days are Better than None” brings a plethora of instrumentation to the table.

A.D. covers the guitars, blues harp and soulful vocals, while Ed Maxwell (of Meiko) brings the low end and engineering. The album features a host of guest appearances by: Steve Mazur (of Our Lady Peace) on guitars, Ben Peeler (of Shakira) on lap steel, Michael Starr (of Ryan Bingham) on the fiddle, Holly Conlan sang harmonies, Al Sgro on drums, keys, and harmonies, and Pete Richards (of American Bitch) on sax, mandolin, and harmonies.

You can catch A.D. playing these songs and many others throughout several venues in Central Pennsylvania.

Since being played on a radio show ...I have been trying to find this album. I eventually found it and bought it on the strength of 1 song. It has since proven an inspired investment. The songs are both lyrically and melodically crafted in a way that will leave you with a smile on your face after every track. The lyrics are some of the cleverist I have heard and you may even get caught laughing out loud to lines like: "I cut the sun wide open and killed my own best friend, then steals his wallet". Whimsical, funny, quite simply one of the best albums I have encountered in years, will have you dancing and grinning from ear to ear.
