Certified Organic fuses Adina Nyree's three loves of poetry, philosophy and song. An album and artist conscious of the world around and inside us all. Planted in nutrient rich soil of understanding, love and hope, Certified Organic seeks to grow on the listener, intertwining with mind, body and soul.

This music is socially- conscious, esoteric & organic all in one fell swoop! It strives for social change through the power of one...it provokes thought & promotes change, all while giving you a groove you can dance to! The band's musical stylings are rooted in a vast firmament tracing back to Stevie Wonder to Tracy Chapman to Earth, Wind & Fire to Keb Mo' to Kahlil Gibran to Prince to Fela Kuti (diverse to say the least)! The project is a melding of two distinct yet similar worlds- Spoken Word & contemporary popular music. The music serves as a bridge to expose listeners to a cross-genre not otherwise heard. The impetus of the music started with two friends collaborating to create a backdrop for a few poems- what it blossomed into was two soulmates together creating a work of art in which to improve the musical landscape as we know it.
