ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Admiral Crumple's New Album - Dark Sentences is that fresh, authentic, Dark, Hardcore and clever hip hop that is so badly needed in 2012! He hails from Toronto Canada home of Drake, but where more recently there were darker events. A shooting in a major downtown Toronto public mall, and a Serial killer on the loose born near Toronto. Crumple is the voice of the truthin times of darkness and over cluttered information. He says how it is and speaks his mind fiercely! His lyrics appeal to common people, In CCTV The lyrics speak of frustration with unemployment, Hot Chick - about finding healthy relationships, Back at it tells of persistence and meeting deadlines, while Ancient Scrolls speaks of quitting addictions and replacing them with more positive and empowering behaviours!

This album has been anticipated since Sept 2011. When a friend of 17 years asked to produce the record. They worked on it till completion. However tensions and infighting in the studio occurred. To the point where the original producer quit the album and threatened to sue Crumple if it was released - this happened at the Manufacturing stage - a stage most independent artists can only dream of getting too. Disappointed but not yet willing to give in. Using the vocals, Crumple created all new beats.

Unlike some bad youtube remixes - Crumple made sure all beats were perfectly in sync to the Original beats from the original producer - yet new original Crumple production! The result is a new dark and emotional sound. At point of Press for the new record - the original producer and Admiral Crumple have actually put aside their differences and continue their 17 year friendship - something very rare with artists. Crumple also added a brand new track - haunted and the Highly Anticipated collabo track "City Life" featuring Jus Allah from Jedi Mind Tricks! Quality original hard hitting beats, Empowering lyrics, AND10 % of the sales from this album will be donated to The Covenant House in Toronto to help the Street Youth! Crumple has been donating earnings from his records consistently since 2007 through his Catacares foundation - to give back to the community.
