Album Notes

Beautiful vibrations joined these music loving creatures together.
Darcy Bloom plays acoustic guitar, sings, and sometimes squealing electric. He writes and arranges music you sing and groove with. Messages on love, environment, or regular foot tappin' hand fun.
Jill Bloom tickles the black and whites, hums the harmonica, and bangs out some percussion. Singing soft backups along with deep soulful tunes. She writes emotion fueled lyrics with prose style arranging.
Together they harmonize into a soulful, fun, thought provoking good time!

Darcy Bloom grew up in the beautiful hills of Wimberley, Tx. He spent most of his time studying plants and swimming in the Blanco River. He started playing guitar after teachings from his brother, Corby. Shortly after writing his first songs. Being raised in such a beautiful place created a deep desire to preserve nature and save the planet. It also gave him a super chiller attitude.

Jill Bloom grew up Jill Miller. Mostly living in San Antonio, her dad was in the air force moving the family to Mississippi.(just long enough to form a southern drawl!) Her family also moved to Germany where her life was permanently altered by watching the Berlin wall come down; instilling a deep empathy for humankind. She began playing piano at 5 and guitar when she met Darcy who taught her. Song writing started around the age of 10, usually about dogs cats and chickens then!
Jill and Darcy met at the Kerrville Folk Festival 6/2001. They were set up by a 6 ft transy! Hitting it off right away they spent there first night together dressing Darcy up as a woman for the wild women contest! They spent the entire last week of the festival together, there upon deciding to continue their adventures back in Austin, where Jill resided. Enjoying their time together so much, Darcy stayed and moved in with Jill immediately. They lived together then tyed the knot officially on 9/29/02

All in all JIll and Darcy Bloom (Adopted Highway)love to perform and record music that comforts, inspires and gets their hearts feelings across. Keep your eye on them, they have many more great hits to come!
