The Polly & Me cd comes with a 24-page soft-bound book written by Lynette & Chuck Giacinto. This book/cd combo combines lovable characters, along with music and a warm and light-hearted storyline that serves as a great introduction to discussing your child’s international adoption story. The story and song center around a little girl in a Chinese orphanage who receives a care package from her family-to-be. In the package she finds a stuffed panda bear named Polly who comes to life befriending the little girl and watching over her until she is united with her family.
Adapted from the song \"Polly & Me\" from the CD Lullabies - For China\'s Daughters & Their Adoptive Families, Polly and Me - the children\'s book, features full color illustration by Paul Taylor along with an exclusive adoption-related CD inside which includes a special version of the song Polly & Me, an audio narrative version of the book, as well as a brand new exclusive adoption-themed song \"Now That I Have You,\" a collaboration between Chuck Giacinto and songwriter/adoptive dad Garrett R. Hall with vocals by Tyler Elder, and featuring Multi-DOVE Award winner Rex Carroll on guitar.
