Hailing from the heartland, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Adam Douglas, is dedicated to spreading his musical message to music lovers across the continent. With nothing short of awe inspiring live performances, Adam Douglas & the Deacons will embark on an American roots musical journey right in front of your eyes and ears.
"Diagnosed" as a child with incredibly strong musical aptitudes, Adam spent much of his upbringing harnassing the enormous 4-octave vocal range with wich he had been blessed. With virtually no musical talent or interest in the family, Douglas had to seek his inspiration elsewhere - In the recordings of his predecessors. As a teenager, Adam Got an early start on performing live and touring with bands. In between touring the country with various touring acts he was somehow able to squeeze in his college education, whil,e continuing to build his musical abilities.
With plenty of experience as a "hired gun" throughout the North American live music community, it was only a matter of time until Douglas decided to embark on his own musical endeavors. Adam's song writing and performance abilities can now be experienced in your home, with the recent release of the new EP "Nine Songs". Adam Douglas & the Deacons display uncanny versatility throughout this debut release - crossing all sorts of american roots music genres. Everything from rock and roll to blues to funk to old school r&b can be enhoyed by the listener.
