Album Notes

The Buckaroogirl, Adrian delivers her third CD with all the vocal and instrumental power she has come to be known for, with resonate, mature and deeply meaningful words of the cowboy life.

A duet highlighting the King of Cowboy Poetry, Waddie Mitchell blends his hypnotic poem, “What Will I Tell Him?” with Adrian’s family focused ballad, “Branding Pen of My Father.” These two favorites of modern cowboy music and poetry unite to deliver much more passion than either piece alone. The duo deliver the power of the genre in a style both familiar and new at the same time.

Ranch and Reata Magazine say that, “Adrian’s new CD, Buckaroogirl is a gift to all of us who enjoy real western music. She is in fact the real deal.” She says that her new songs “….reflect my experiences and those of the cowboys I work with and live around.” The January 2012 issue of Cowboy’s and Indians Magazine listed Adrian in their Next West highlights as one of the “…20 bright young stars of the Western world…”

Without losing her passion for the ranching west-Adrian takes her fans to new heights through her emotion filled lyrics and music. Both critically and popularly acclaimed, Adrian has reached into our soul and helped us see the truth of musical commitment, which transcends traditional genres. Is it Folk, Country, Rock, Western, Cowboy? No, it's all of these and much more. It's music people love and feel deeply-making it their own as soon as they hear it.
