Biography
Touring keyboardist for Panic at the Disco, Adrian Hibbs has a solo project based out of NYC and New Orleans, inspired from Soul and R&B roots from the 70's. In 2006, Adrian took a fresh look at his musical inspirations and experiences from his early music career to create a solo effort called The Adrian Hibbs Project. His style is best defined as a concoction of R&B roots saturated with soul. Adrian’s love for the Hammond has extended to include the Wurlitzer and Clavinet, making him a versatile keyboardist depending on the song, mood and crowd of listeners.
Adrian teamed up with producer Scotty Hard (Wutang, MMW, Boogie Down Productions) in 2007 to record original songs arranged on his self-titled EP “The Adrian Hibbs Project,” with a full length CD due out later this year. You can currently find him at Williamsburg’s Black Betty every Thursday night and other music halls in downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn testifying his sound to New Yorkers who are looking for the next soul inspired crooner.
