This album has been playing around our house alot lately. Its got many of my favorite sounds from acoustic rock, jazz and blues – fused nicely together into a personal statement by the artist. Its not often you find a collection of music that is so listenable yet has such great staying power. I like how Adrian has crafted a soulful sound without succumbing to over-sentimentality. There’s a comfortable familiarity that is surprisingly fresh and original. It easy to sense the love and care that went into this album, its well crafted on all levels. Every song has a distinct flavor and they fit well together. If you love that late afternoon moody vibe, then these songs will get you there.

Well, Adrian definitely proved his musical ability with this awesome debut album!  From intimate mellow sounds to upbeat rhapsodic tunes, this cd will take you to a place of subtle contentment.  If you want to get intoxicated with some down-to-earth good music, this is for you!

Note: I'm predisposed to liking mellow, cool rock/pop riffs with non-traditional rock instrumentation (horns, classical strings), having come of age in Charlottesville when Dave Matthews Band was playing fraternity parties and Trax every Thursday for $6. That said, Adrian knocks it out of the park with his freshness and poise. All very original, even the only cover on the album--the most interesting arrangement of People Get Ready since Bob Marley's many years ago--Just Another Day feels like the beginning of something good.
