ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"[Words and music] like an onion, layers upon layers of meaning and acoustic melody." --PhillyRockBlog, October 11, 2010.

Based out of Philadelphia, Adrian Morse is classically trained in composing for computers and a self-taught destroyer of stringed instruments. He is a veteran of countless musical missteps, unrealized bands, and aborted projects. His latest releases include an acoustic singer-songwriter album ("bright smile black eyes") and an album of tracks built on a phone ("Natural History"). This is the former collection: a singer-songwriter life-of-a-relationship concept album of sorts. These songs were carefully written over the course of 2010 and then recorded using an acoustic guitar, a piano, and about 2 hours one Saturday afternoon in December of the same year.
