Electric Medusa is my first full length instrumental album. My first idea was to create a stripped down and raw sounding record. I wanted the sound to be true to what the band sounds like live. Electric Medusa was produced over a six month period with all guitar parts recorded at my personal studio. Drums, mixdown and mastering were completed at MetalWorks Studio. The entire album not only showcases some stunning guitar work, but also features numerous inspired performances by Mike and John all the while highlighting that great players should still, and can be, true to the song. We hope you get as much pleasure out of listening to each and every note as we did playing them.
I'd love to hear your comments,
Adrian Raso

Adrin raso's electric medusa is probably the only instrumental guitar album where the names of the songs actually fit the songs themselves. Great Riffs and Perfect songwriting, I couldn't ask for a better listening experience.

If you love big, loud, melodic guitar rock . . .
author: Brian
. . . then you NEED this CD! This is one solid, rompin' stompin' slab of power trio virtuosity. Mr. Raso is a technical guitarist above and beyond the call of duty, with a genuine feeling for pace, dynamics and melodic development, and a lot of well-expressed emotion besides. The drummer and bassist support him admirably. Big chunky riffs 'n' rhythms underscore the soaring guitar lines. The tunes are well composed, full of fire and drama. Most are hard rockers, but the power ballad "Shattered" provides a nice downtempo contrast a little over halfway through. Definitely one of the more enjoyable rock guitar records I've heard recently. (Did I mention that I like it?)
