"When I recorded this album, I wanted to give people the live experience. When I see a solo act, I'm disappointed if the album is over produced compared with the live show. If I enjoyed it enough to buy a cd, why would I want a fully backed and produced album? I WANT to hear guitar and vocals or hear the tracks performed stripped back. That's what I've done with this album. ... Oh, and everyone plays acoustic solo, this is electric guitar driven solo stuff like what Merle Travis did!!!'
