Album Notes

Pulling the strings of the gold concert grand harp evokes images of the ancient past. The ritual celebration of the birth of the infant King who would change the world inspires the music that we have all come to love. On this CD, harp, vocals and flute weave together to create a magical recording of European and American Christmas favorites. While Adrienne Bridgewater’s playing and singing convey the essence of the music, flutist Kati Lorant, embellishes the melodies with her unique improvisation. A listener comments, “Every piece on this CD is an absolute delight!”
