Once upon a time Writers and Voice Artists from Women in Animation (WIA - including male members) came together and volunteered their time and talents to create a Radio Play style CD with the intention of entertaining seriously ill and bedridden children. Along the way they realized that the stories spoke to a larger audience.
Some of the initial production costs were covered by generous individuals and by the WIA - Los Angeles Chapter. To cover the final cost of production and distribution, the CDs will be sold to the public. For every CD sold one copy will be donated to a children's hospital, school, or library.
The four original stories were created by talented writers, and brought to life with performances by professional voice artists accompanied with music and sound effects. They will transport a child's imagination on wonderful adventures from the jungle to outer space.
