Drummond grooves with extraordinary support from Xavier Davis (piano), Klaus Mueller (piano), Paul Meyers (guitar), Nilson Matta (bass), Duduka da Fonseca (drums), Tom Chiu (violin) and Dave Eggar (cello). Drummond has been featured on numerous high profile jazz recordings, including recordings with multiple-Grammy-nominee pianist Kenny Barron’s “Canta Brasil” (Sunnyside), “Images” (Universal France) and a score for the film “Another Harvest Moon”; Bassist Avishai Cohen’s “Home” on Razdaz Records; and Vibraphonist Stefon Harris’s Grammy-nominated “Grand Unification Theory” (Blue Note), “Evolution” (Blue Note), “African Tarantella…Dances with Duke” (Blue Note), and “Urbanus” (Concord, August 2009).
