Album Notes

Moved by danceable, driving beats, rocking guitars and expressive bass lines the diabolical foundation emerges, on which gripping electronic soundscapes, male and bewitching female vocals unite to an electrifying dark symphony that leaves no part of the body motionless.

Since their formation in 1996, the german Gothic-Wave-Rock group ADVOCATUS DIABOLI has raised broad attention through numerous live performances (with bands like ASP and ZERAPHINE and DAS ICH, amongst others), as well as the impressive self-produced debut album "Enter Your Forest".

With the 2004 album "Sterbend durch die Sonne" ("Dying through the sun") the Devil’s Advocates guide you through their powerful, multi-facetted and fascinating world. By the support of the german label Sonorium, the band gained much publicity and success in the german and european gothic-rock scene as well as in the alternative-rock scene. On their newly released full length album "Sterbend durch die Sonne", the Devil’s advocates guide you through their powerful, multi-facetted and fascinating world. They continued their work with the 2006 album "Sternenmarsch".
