Acoustic Eidolon's "Miles and Moments" DVD is a stunning audio-visual journey. Filmed on location in some of the most beautiful areas in Florida, including Ft. De Soto Beach and the Bok Sanctuary Gardens, "Miles and Moments" features stunning footage of Acoustic Eidolon performing some of their most popular instrumental songs from their first five recordings. Special DVD features include music digitally-remastered in 5.1 surround sound, candid behind-the-scene interviews with Joe and Hannah, an in-depth double-neck guitjo lesson with Joe, live concert footage, a bonus Christmas special, optional song introductions by Hannah and Joe, and more! (Some film footage was taken from the Telly-award-winning CNI Television specials, "The Quest" and "The Joy of Christmas.")
Acoustic Eidolon calls Colorado home though they have performed extensively throughout the world. With a repertoire that defies categories, their signature sound knows no bounds as their music travels through Celtic, World, Latin and Folk music influences. At times, even some Asian tonal poems and hard rock are blended into the mix. Dirty Linen Magazine praises them as “a sumptuous musical feast.” They are described by the Swallow Hill Music Association as “an evening of brilliant instrumentality,” and Georgia’s Good Life Magazine enthuses, “Acoustic Eidolon offers concert-goers a chance to absorb some of the most powerful and intriguing music on the scene today.”
Acoustic Eidolon has performed at acclaimed venues around the world such as St. Paul's Cathedral and The Royal National Theatre in London, the Spandau Theatre in Berlin and Club Passage in Dresden, Germany: The Kennedy Center in Washington DC; the Vancouver Island Music Festival in Canada; and the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas. They have been featured on the nationally-syndicated radio programs of NPR's "All Things Considered," "Echos," and "Woodsong's Olde Time Radio Hour."
With a DVD and 5 CDs to their credit, Acoustic Eidolon continues to captivate audiences throughout the world with their signature "new acoustic" sound and boundless possibilities in blending Caltic, folk and classical genres. Acoustic Eidolon offers concert-goers an opportunity to absorb some of the most intriguing music on the scene today.
