This anthology of music is dedicated to all of my family, friends, and customers who supported my health food store in Lowell, MA, AEOLIA: WHOLE FOODS, for 7 years.

A very special thanks to my good friend and fellow band mate in BAREFOOT NUNUS, Gregory Franceschi, who has always been there for me in life and stood by me many times over the years since the summer of 1973. The Muse knows who loves her.

FEEDBACK:

01. 09-11-2011 - David Lamkins - via Email - "George ... I haven't had time to listen to the benefit concert CDs or the other material, but did get to listen to Rough Road Ahead all the way through. My favorite tracks are Abandoned, Psychic Vampires, Siyontanka Song of Sadness and Them Blues (Black Crow Mix). Abandoned: Good strong vocals. I especially love the keys / synth sound on the verse. Sounds like a modern Jon Lord. Psychic Vampires: There's something about the vocals in this tune that just grabs me. It's almost an eighties underground pop kind of feel. Siyotanka ... : I'd have to say that this is my overall favorite. Nice intro. I like the way the verse picks up the theme from the intro. The vocals on this tune are exceptional. Very strong. Just a hint of a young, angsty Neil Young... I love the synth arrangement. Them Blues ... : What can I say? I'm a sucker for guitar rock. Very cool treatment of the lead guitar. And the ambience on that crow sound fooled me... I kept going to the open window to find out what was up with that bird. :) Good voice. Very nice production. Thanks for sending that, George. Best wishes, Dave"

02. 10-20-2011 - Jane Litwin Taylor - via Facebook message - "George ... P.S. We listened to your CD - "Rough Road Ahead" while we were driving down the pacific coast and through the winding roads of CA. It is just terrific. You are pouring your heart and soul out in those songs. Whoa, they are powerful! The whole CD is now on my IPod so I can listen to it whenever I want! You are a very talented and spirited songwriter; you have a gift! - Jane"

03. 10-24-2011 - Jane Litwin Taylor - via Facebook message - "George - ... What you wrote means a lot too, that my opinion means that much to you. I know how vital your music and expression of yourself through that music is; it is your lifeline. That is what the creative outlet is to me too- whether it be through art or music, so I totally get it. Your ability to express it in words, through your songs, amazes me. It is heartfelt and on Rough Road Ahead, heart wrenching. ... Peace! Jane
