London (UK) based Alternative/Metal band. The band have been together for more than 2 years, but have already found their own unique sound, appealing to a wide variety of listeners.

From Nu-Metal, to Hard Alternative, from Industrial to just plain Metal, you’ll know you’re listening to Afflicted. Chart success mainly via internet chart schemes for unsigned bands, including number 1's at Vitaminic, Soundclick.com and awards from Garage Band, almost always topping the charts in their genre. Afflicted write, record and produce all their own material, giving them full creative freedom to fine tune their sound.

Notice the heavy driving rhythms and powerful vocals and structured melodies; all contributing to Afflicted’s signature sound. Judging by their music, it’s obvious they can produce hit CDs… but can they perform live? You need only to look at their professionally designed website to see their recent live performances and the reactions from their fans in the UK. Afflicted now find their music being played and listened to on the east side of America, however they still find themselves not signed to any record label. By entering their latest songs onto Internet music charts over the world, the early signs are phenomenal. ‘Sin’, ‘Oxygen’ and ‘5:am’ all placing high in the charts and generating huge interest, whilst the older songs from Afflicted’s early days (The Fall, Erase, Dark Angel) continue to do well in charts also.

Oxygen is here! Not only Afflicted's strongest album to date, but also taken up by the producers of new US TV Show Combat Tactics as the main theme before the album's official release! Afflicted have reached a whole new level, and look to push their boundaries hard into the USA.
