Album Notes

A Fine Line's music is of the Acoustic/SingerSongwriter nature but sometimes drifts further into more Rock and Indie tendencies. The style is akin to artists such as Damien Rice and Ryan Adams, but also draws from Rock and Punk artists as well. Singer/Songwriter Stephen Selvey creates innovative guitar riffs with catchy melodies while Camellia Delk adds stirring string and vocal accompaniments. Adam Dale and Matt Miller fill out the rythm section on bass and percussion. A Fine Line creates an organic sound of stringed instruments that can range minimalistic and bare to dense and lush. Some have dubbed the sound "chamber folk" try listening for yourself.

Organic is a perfect word to describe this music. It's beautiful and homegrown, it's refreshing...I find this music to grip the bottom of my soul with sincere, eclectic guitar parts and bordering-on-the-edge of-dark yet still poppy string arrangements, which make me daydream of nature and lost love. These songs get stuck in my head and inspire me.
