A breathe of fresh air

I've known Dana for a few years now and he just gets better and better. This Cd showcases some of Dana's best material. It's hard to pick one favorite out of this collection. I'm still not sure if I prefer hearing the music live, or with a band behind him, but it's just the same either way. Dana delivers his heart and soul on a few musical notes and bending guitar strings. And that is pure Dana.

I can listen to this CD again and again. It is filled with variety and spirit. “These Changes” is a beautiful ballade that all of us can relate to, and each time I listen to ”Family Man” I can’t keep sitting still. “One Light at a Time” also performed by Dana’s daughter Arianna on the bonus track brings a wonderful message to all generations. I am looking forward to Dana’s next CD.

ONE LIGHT AT A TIME – Dana Agnellini
With the continual barrage of CD’s I receive for reviews and submissions, I barely have the time to listen once through to the majority of them. So it is rare for me when I find a collection of songs that I enjoy listening to over and over again. I don’t know if it’s the clean, simple, pop/rock production, or the catchy melodies with heartfelt, positive lyrics but I know I can always count on Dana’s CD to lift me up, make me smile and make me think.
The title cut is an anthem for peace, an empowerment for the individual and a social commentary on the insanity of violence. One of my favorites is a personal thank you to God for accepting me just the way I am – “You Know Everything”.
It’s hard to believe this is Dana’s first effort. I will be one of the first in line for his next project!

This is a touching, inspiring, motivating, spiritually moving CD that incorporates a little country with a twist of rock and roll and a pinch of blues. Family Man is my favorite cut. Personally, I can relate to Thunder Hill. If you want a CD that makes you think, laugh, cry, sing, while offering spiritual enlightenment... this is the CD :)
