Nikki Dakota, Music Director WYSO

“….shares a poignant glimpse into the common stories within the lives of many people.”
Street Knowledge

“….a whispery cabaret-rock vocal aesthetic is a highlight of Andy's performance and on the best songs the listener can really take flight within his voice. Soft, emotive melodies guide his lyrics through the travails of family anguish, love, and hope. On top of that his jazzy style is a refreshing genre-twist for the New York City songwriter scene….”

"….Andy has played strong sets for the last couple years with Jezebel, but last Wednesday really stood out. There’s no disputing Andy’s professionalism: hypnotizing guitar and keyboard orchestrations combined with breathy, moody, and mysterious vocals (as in you feel the vocals), and unique lyrical phrasing, all played with skill and poise."
Gabriel Levitt, Director Jezebel Music

Good Sound
author: Keith Newcomer
I realy enjoyed this disk for the Jazz and acoustic sound. I would have loved to heard a little more trumpet or horns on the album, but this was a good listen. I was on my way to jury duty and put this disc in and I actually enjoyed my ride in becuase of the music. Nice and mellow, good if you want to hang out and relax.

This is a cd that all should own. A perfect blend of high paced folk rythm with sweeping vocals. Verry sharp poetry and an amazing flow to the album.

So often I m disapointed with a new CD, not this time with Gurhrie
author: Michael Miranda
So often, as most of us, I purchase a new album because I was enchanted by one song that the radio station plays. In this case: "see it come". So rarely do I run across a complete album that I can enjoy after taking such a risk. Expecting to hear the same/same as "see it come", it was not there. However, this alblum gave me a varity of absolutly enjoyable music. Couldn't recommend it more, than I am.
