The album is a master piece of catchy modern new rock tunes coming out of Iran. It takes the listener on a journey of sounds. ”Imagine Muse and Tool getting all cozy around Iced Earth and you’ve got the drift here.” As described by Classic Rock Magazine.

Album Notes

Ahoora’s third album “Awkward Diary” is a major step forwards in many ways. “Spanning genre and mood to great effect, Ahoora have created a mature and thoughtful work that certainly warrants its place in the CD collection of adventurous listeners” as Rock Pulse describes; Awkward Diary is “a lesson in stylistic restraint set against emotional expression, the album's title comes alive in all its comfortable angularity” as DME believes.

In 26th of October 2009, Ahoora released its first single, “Crimson Baby” from the new album, “Awkward Diary”. The song, which was chosen as "Track of the Day" by Classic Rock Magazine, is dedicated to Neda & all who died innocently in Tehran streets during the conflicts of June 2009. It was followed by the 2nd single “Closure” which was received warmly within online radios.

“Awkward Diary” has been released worldwide by ZirZamin.
