Glad you found me here. I hope you will take the time to preview to some of the songs. My personal favorites are Delight in Me, Be Still, Take Me To the Cross, First Love and Come Away.
All of the songs are very dear to my heart because they were all written from my personal meditations on Bible verses. If you buy the CD you will find that I actually list all the scripture references that went into the lyrics of each song. And of course, they are all very personal to me and relate to what I was going through during certain seasons of my life. For instance, the song, Come Away, was originally written as a love song to my girl friend (who is now my wife and the mother our two children). The lyrics of that song were taken straight from Song of Solomon chapter two where the Beloved (Jesus) is beckoning His bride to follow Him up to the "clefts of the rock". I take that to mean the cross, the place where we get to know Jesus in the most intimate way. Anyway, she really liked it and still likes when I sing it to her. By the way, for all you romantics out there, the Song of Solomon contains the best love-song writing material that you'll ever find!
I hope you enjoy this full length album. It was recorded live from the stage so it has that extra anointing that often accompanies live worship albums.
