Album Notes

Initially intended to be a demo and recorded between 2000 and 2001, Cold Reflections in the Pond was Aimee Elisabeth’s first frolic into recording and the music business. All songs recorded on the album were written before 1999*, with the exception of Independence and Heaven Forbid, both of which were written in 2000.

* While most kids were running around playing tag, beating each other up, and getting into shenanigans, Aimee Elisabeth was busy writing songs, poetry, learning how to make websites, and reading generally nerdy books... like the dictionary. She never noticed this peculiarity, and not noticing is half the battle.
