Album Notes

April 20, 2005.

Dear CD Baby consumer,

Aimee Leonard is a sweet girl in small town Ontario, Canada. Her hair is long and blond. She smiles a lot. She takes a lot of music lessons. She goes to the gym. Someday she dreams of escaping to Canada's big city. At least she has a University Education to fall back on. Now, let's not fall back.

Once a month she plays at the Townehouse Tavern. She is slowly growing up on that cozy corner stage. She has a Moosehead in one hand and wiping the sweat off the other on her skirt. Afterall, you can't play the keys right with sweaty hands.

"What Happened" was recorded in the fall of 2004. It was weird.

The end.

REVIEWS

Awsome cd. I listen to it almost everyday
author: Shane Wallace
I love this cd. It's mixture of Jazz and Classical "Jazzical" gives it a very unique sound. Aimee's intense vocals backed by her great piano melodies and Chewy's smooth bass lines make for an extremely enjoyable sound. every song on this cd is great, because of this when you listen to the cd you just have to listen to every song from start to finish every time. I recomend this cd to any one with an open mind to music.

Strong Debut for the Gifted Leonard
author: Anna Maria Stjärnell for Collected Sounds
Aimee Leonard's voice is incredibly powerful and she has the songs to match. "Baby One More lie" sees her deftly alluding to Britney's "Baby one more time" while still making her own song resonate. "You Can't save me" sees her assert her independence to a great tune. "Dearest Friend" is a sweet song for a troubled soul with some neat piano playing. The powerful "Stick it" has her reaching almost Janis Joplin-esque heights vocally while bashing away at the piano with fervor. "What Happened" is a strong debut for the gifted Leonard. May 22, 2005.
